Advanced geotextile and drainage structures customized for global infrastructure standards.
Located at the north end of Fufeng Street, Lingcheng District, Dezhou, Shandong Province, Shandong Hongyue Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. is a leading scientific and technological geotechnical material manufacturer. We seamlessly integrate engineering material production, sales, structural design, and specialized construction services into a comprehensive, client-centric operation.
The company was officially registered with the Lingcheng District Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Dezhou City on April 6, 2023, boasting a robust registered capital of 105 million yuan (RMB). Today, our facility stands as one of the largest production bases of geotechnical materials in China, positioned in Dezhou, Shandong Province, a strategic region that offers superior geographical connectivity and rapid transportation routes to major international ports.
Since our inception, our company has experienced rapid expansion. Our extensive product portfolio includes permeable geotextiles, geomembranes, composite geomembranes, waterproof boards, bentonite waterproof blankets (GCL), 3D composite drainage nets, (composite) drainage boards, woven and non-woven engineering fabrics, membrane bags, blind ditches, waterproof and drainage combinations, woven bags, ecological bags, cement blankets, fiber plant blankets, and flexible pervious pipes.
We have established a highly professional sales and technical team and are an active member of the Dezhou Geotextile Association. Our products are widely used across civil and municipal engineering sectors globally, including high-speed railways, highways, underground tunnels, water conservancy canals, artificial lakes, waste landfills, environmental protection containment systems, industrial mining sites, and modern agriculture projects.
As global infrastructure investments increase to counter extreme weather patterns and severe soil erosion, the demand for high-performance permeable geotextiles has expanded dramatically. Civil engineers globally require durable materials capable of providing separation, filtration, reinforcement, drainage, and protection. From Europe’s stringent civil standards to Australia’s mining codes and the USA’s transportation networks, high-quality, long-life geotextiles are critical to extending the lifespan of roads, retaining walls, and reservoirs.
Located in Dezhou, Shandong—the undisputed capital of geosynthetics manufacturing—Shandong Hongyue benefits from an integrated supply chain network. The concentration of upstream raw material refineries, state-of-the-art melt-extrusion facilities, and specialized logistics providers ensures unmatched operational resilience. We secure premium raw polyester (PET) chips and polypropylene (PP) filaments at highly competitive rates, insulated from localized supply shocks. This enables us to maintain extensive inventories and deliver short lead times for high-volume international contracts.
Our factory processes are structured to support OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) partnerships. International engineering groups rely on us to manufacture customized geotextiles with custom tensile strengths, unit weights, grab elongation rates, and UV protection packages. By operating multiple high-output production lines in Shandong, we balance volume and flexibility, ensuring that bulk shipments comply with localized requirements without delay.
Different engineering environments demand tailored geosynthetic solutions. Shandong Hongyue develops custom system solutions for civil, municipal, and ecological applications:
In major reservoirs, river canals, and artificial lakes, water loss due to subgrade seepage can undermine structural safety and waste valuable resources. Our high-performance geomembranes and composite structures are engineered to create a durable, impermeable barrier. When paired with non-woven permeable geotextiles, the system isolates the subgrade soil, prevents piping erosion, and protects the primary waterproofing layer from physical damage by sharp stones and soil debris.
Environmental containment demands zero leakage of hazardous leachates into the groundwater table. Shandong Hongyue provides multi-layered systems incorporating bentonite waterproof blankets (GCL), thick HDPE geomembranes, and heavy-duty non-woven geotextiles. The geotextiles act as cushion layers, absorbing shear stress and local strain while ensuring that lateral liquids drain smoothly through composite drainage nets.
Modern green municipal projects utilize our plastic drainage boards and geogrids to construct subterranean water management systems. In underground garage roof garden designs, our dimpled drainage boards coupled with a permeable geotextile layer filter out fine soil particles while allowing storm runoff to drain freely, preventing structural water buildup and subgrade degradation.
The physical properties of permeable geotextiles—including tensile strength, puncture resistance, and permeability coefficient—are determined during manufacturing. Shandong Hongyue enforces a rigid, 6-step manufacturing process:
We source high-grade polyester (PET) chips, polypropylene (PP) filaments, and viscose fibers. Every batch undergoes strict incoming inspection to verify density, molecular weight, and moisture levels, ensuring baseline material integrity.
Polyester and polypropylene compounds are melted under high pressure and temperature in screw extruders. Polypropylene filaments and specialized viscose fibers are mixed to enhance the final product's physical properties.
The molten polymer is extruded through spinnerets to form fine, continuous fibers. These fibers are laid onto conveyor systems to form a uniform web structure, controlling mass per unit area and fiber orientation.
The loose fiber web is consolidated through needle-punching or thermal bonding. Mechanical interlocking via needle lines provides the geotextile with its high tensile strength and distinct permeability.
The stabilized fabric is measured, slit to specified widths (up to 6 meters), and wound onto heavy-duty cores. Rolls are wrapped in protective, UV-resistant packaging for long-distance transport.
Samples from each production run are tested in our on-site laboratory. We measure grab tensile strength, CBR puncture resistance, apparant opening size (AOS), and water flow rate to ensure compliance with ASTM and EN standards before dispatch.
The table below outlines the properties of our primary non-woven and woven geotextiles. Custom specifications can be engineered via our OEM service to meet regional design criteria.

The success of geosynthetic projects depends on selecting the correct materials, executing precise installation, and performing routine maintenance.
Our technical support team provides engineers and project managers with specialized support throughout the project lifecycle:
The subgrade must be level and compacted. Clear all sharp rocks, roots, and debris to prevent localized puncturing of the geotextile or geomembrane during compaction.
Roll out the geotextile smoothly, avoiding wrinkles and folds. Maintain sufficient overlap (typically 300mm to 500mm depending on subgrade stability) to prevent separation under load.
For high-strength applications, overlap zones should be sewn, heat-welded, or mechanically bound. Double-track hot wedge welding is recommended for geomembrane interfaces.
Cover geotextiles promptly to prevent excessive UV exposure. Place backfill in uniform lifts, taking care not to run heavy tracked machinery directly over exposed sheets.
Shandong Hongyue has built a complete quality management system certified to ISO9001:2015 (Quality Management), ISO14001:2015 (Environmental Management), and ISO45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety). Our products are tested by the China National Testing Center and have passed sampling inspections by the State Administration of Quality Supervision and Inspection. We provide global compliance documentation and support to assist clients during national audit and approvals processes.
