The base elements of our premium geotextiles rely on high-grade polyester chips (PET), virgin polypropylene filament (PP), and select viscose fibers. Raw material consignments undergo thorough thermal analysis, shear resistance testing, and moisture content verification in our analytical laboratories to ensure optimal performance characteristics before processing.
Polyester chips are dried and fed into high-capacity screw extruders. Working at temperatures exceeding 260°C, polymers transition into a highly uniform melt phase. Here, specialized UV stabilizers, carbon black concentrates, and anti-oxidants are blended into the melt to prolong the material's lifespan under harsh exposure conditions.
The molten polymer mix is pumped through spinneret plates to form thousands of continuous filaments. These are drawn down by high-speed air streams and laid onto a moving collection belt, creating an isotropic web structure. Precise control of the laydown speed ensures uniform thickness and balanced physical properties across both directions of the fabric.
