Advancing the threshold of containment reliability: how next-generation welding processes secure critical environmental boundaries.
The standard for sheet joining. Uses conductive heat to melt adjacent sheet edges before fusing them under rolling pressure, leaving a center channel for pressure testing.
Utilizes a molten polymer extrudate to bond overlapping geomembranes. Vital for detailing, piping penetrations, patches, and tight corners where hot wedge cannot operate.
Real-time data integration directly within the welding crawler. Automatically adjusts speed and power output relative to surrounding ambient temperature and thickness variation.
Automated thermal camera diagnostics that detect minute cold-weld pockets or particulate contamination in real time, drastically reducing CQA failure rates on site.
We deploy targeted containment barriers engineered specifically for major water resource projects, environmental landfills, and industrial oil tank applications.
Shandong Hongyue leverages smart manufacturing paradigms to provide optimal supply chain protection for projects worldwide. In an era where resource costs fluctuate and delivery times dictate project success, our factory in Dezhou, Shandong Province, ensures continuous material flow and uncompromised quality.
Our infrastructure maintains multi-layer co-extrusion technology for wide-width geomembranes, limiting seam count during field application. Raw material selection is monitored by automated gravity feeding systems, maintaining physical parameters like tensile strength, puncture resistance, and environmental stress cracking resistance (ESCR) well above the national standards.
By relying on high-speed rail lines and major coastal ports in nearby Qingdao and Tianjin, our supply chain ensures timely shipments, providing logistical predictability that global engineering teams need.

Our geotextile production process utilizes modern melt-spinning and needle-punching equipment to guarantee structural consistency and filtering performance.
We source polyester chips, polypropylene filament, and viscose fibers. Every incoming batch undergoes strict moisture and polymer chain density checks.
Polyester raw materials are processed via specialized screw extruders at target temperatures. Polypropylene and custom fiber compositions are mixed to achieve uniform polymer blends.
Extruded polymer flows through spinnerets to form fine fiber webs. These webs are continuously layered on dynamic conveyors to maintain uniform cross-sectional density.
Multiple fiber layers undergo mechanical carding and physical needle punching. This process increases inter-fiber locking, boosting tensile strength and flow properties.
Finished materials are measured for width and weight, rolled onto hard cores, and wrapped in protective layers to prevent UV degradation during transit.
Samples from every production run are tested in our laboratory for unit weight, thickness, grab tensile strength, tear strength, CBR puncture resistance, and permeability.

A high-performance barrier system depends on selecting the right geomembrane, using proper welding methods, and establishing rigorous field testing protocols. Below are the key engineering phases required to maintain site safety:
1. Proper Material Selection: Material properties vary between High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE). HDPE offers excellent chemical resistance and durability, making it ideal for landfills. LLDPE provides higher flexibility, which is perfect for complex geometries and reservoirs. Additionally, thickness must be matched to project conditions, typically ranging from 0.3mm to 2.0mm.
2. Site Preparation & Laying: Subgrades must be compacted, leveled, and cleared of stones, roots, or sharp objects. Laying plans must account for local wind patterns and thermal expansion/contraction. The panels are then welded using dual-track hot wedge machines or extrusion guns at seam overlaps.
3. Seam Integrity Testing: Non-destructive testing verifies seam quality. Double-track seams are tested by pressurizing the air channel between the welds. For detail patches and single-track extrusion seams, vacuum box testing or spark testing is used to ensure no leaks exist.
Shandong Hongyue operates under a comprehensive quality management structure, certified to ISO9001 (Quality Management), ISO14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards. Our materials have won multiple industry honors, including "Green Building Materials Products" and "Famous Chinese Brand."
All products are certified by the China National Testing Center, meeting and exceeding ASTM international parameters. Testing equipment in our factory evaluates yield strength, break strength, tear resistance, carbon black dispersion, and oxidative induction time (OIT). This ensures long-term performance under demanding operating conditions.
Our engineering teams also support clients during construction, helping them choose the best geomembrane and advising on localized welding methods to meet specific safety regulations.
